Insegling och maritima förhållanden: Enkel och öppen insegling när man kommer från Hjeltefjorden. Var uppmärksam på 2,5M grunda nordväst om Høgøyna.
Ankring: Väl skyddad vik med insegling genom sundet från nord-nordost. Undvik nordvästlig insegling. God svajplats i både inre och yttre delen av viken. 8-10M djup. Delvis utsatt för nordvind i yttre delen, men skären stoppar sjön.
