Inlopp och maritima förhållanden: Öster om Sandnessjøen ligger Meisfjorden.
Ankring: Ankringsdjup 14-19m
Området: Gott om skog runtom som dämpar en hel del vind. En holme som bryter vågorna från havet utanför. Bra botten av dy men något ström i vattnet eftersom det är en trång fjord som fylls med tidvatten och ström från floden längst in i fjorden.
